Characteristics
Zeilt snel en hoog aan de wind op IJsselmeer bij 4 à 5 Beaufort. Snelheid loopt op tot 6 knopen.
Ook op voordewindse koersen zeilt het schip snel.
Kan iets loefgierig zijn. Dat is op te heffen door eerder het grootzeil te reven als de wind toeneemt.
Bij langdurige loefgierigheid is het raadzaam de mast wat naar voren te trimmen of zelfs iets naar voren te plaatsen als daar mogelijkheden toe zijn.
Het schip beweegt zich niet onprettig in golven. Het hoge vrijboord voorkomt vrijwel buiswater aan boord.
Het roer reageert direct. Stabiliteit en aanvangsstabiliteit zijn goed.
