Characteristics
Goed en rustig zeilschip. Licht loefgierig aan de wind en onder zeil goed koersvast. Reageert neutraal en snel op het roer. Gaat vlot overstag. Goede trimmogelijkheden.
Met vinkiel loopt het schip bij windkracht 3 à 4 harder en hoger dan met vleugelkiel en roer.
Meting 38 graden aan de wind bij een snelheid van 6,5 knopen. Het schip met 7/8e tuigage loopt iets hoger aan de wind 27 tot 30 graden door de toegepaste bakstagen.
Met een 29 pk motor loopt het schip 7,2 knopen, een motor van 19 pk haalt nog altijd 7 knopen. De theoretische maximale snelheid is 6,95 knopen.
